We are most delighted to announce that the 28th Diabetes and Cardiovascular Risk Factors – East Meets West Symposium is going to be held in person at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 – 4, 2026.

This international Symposium is jointly organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Diabetes and Obesity (HKIDO) and the Faculty of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the CUHK-PWH International Diabetes Federation Centre of Excellence in Diabetes Care.

This year, we have once again received stellar support from many professional associations as well as sponsors for this very meaningful Symposium.

We have prepared a comprehensive scientific programme to address the educational needs of physicians, other health care professionals, and researchers in clinical and basic sciences. As in the past 27 years, we are expecting more than 1,500 participants joining us from the region and around the globe for this important Symposium.
